Double-Tack adheres to most smooth, flat, clean surfaces such as paper, wood, metal, plastic and glass. Double-Tack is made to be a general purpose, in-door adhesive system. The smoother the surface, the better it’s going to work.

That depends on how curved the surface is! Our Protective films works best on a smooth flat surface. Any crevices or air pockets will affect how well it will adhere to an object. But because it is pliable, it should have no problem bending around curved surfaces.
Our protective film works will with most smooth, flat, clean surfaces. It will NOT stick to blocks, fabric, and other rough surfaces. The performance of the film will also be affected by external conditions and the final application of the film product.
Both the protective film and your surface should be clean and free of any dust, oils or grease. Slowly remove the protective film from its liner and place the top edge in position, then gently smooth from the top downward and outward to remove air bubbles. Our surface protective films are safe to cut with laser cutters. Because of the paper release liner, it is even possible to cut these films in stacks. We highly recommend testing the film with your laser equipment to determine which setting will work best. Please contact for more information and samples for testing.
Most of our Protective Films are compatible with screen printing, however we recommend you provide samples to your ink vendor for testing. It is not designed for any other printing methods. Our Protective Films are not printable by Digital processes such as Inkjet or PPC/Laser.
